Brennon and Allison
Our cousin Brennon came to see us from the big town of Austin this weekend and I had the pleasure of meeting his good friend Chris and beautiful girlfriend Allison. We went out to the pecan grove in Clyde, Tx to take a few pictures before they left to go back home. Hope you guys enjoy!!!

Oh, yeah... They also HAD to have a pecan fight before we could get started!! I love how Brennon uses his girlfriend as a shield! :)

New York!!

Amber Lynn and I had a chance of a life time...We were able to take an AMAZING trip to NYC!! Our trip hadn't even begun and we were already having the time of our lives. What we expected for our long trip was supposed to consist of two really cute girlie movies on the overhead, and what we got was even better: an ipod, shared headsets, and some awesome company!!!
After an early rise and a four hour flight.... We finally arrive!!!! New York here we come! :)

After a HUGE culture shock, we decided to kick-it in Suny New Paltz, NY with an old friend. We finally caught up on some much needed sleep, and then walked into downtown where vintage shops, good eats (including our first New York slice!), and a view that took our breath away!!Another one of my favorite parts of the trip is when we decided to sneak off, away from the group, and find bikes to borrow (really, borrow...for free! how cool is that!)! We biked all along the "Rail Trail" and found ourselves a spot on the grass to lay and talk about how good God is!! Wow!

Then off to the main event: Strategize by Elizabeth Teachout (ie: best friend, rising star!!) She soon will have her BFA from SUNY New Paltz University!!!!

One last day in the Big Apple!!! Time to paint the town red, see all there is to see, eat all there is to eat, and experience all there is in the magical city of New York!! We had an amazing trip!!! :)
Although the city was filled with busy people and honking cars... it seemed to all go away when you walked the streets of Central Park. I would have never thought it would have been so peaceful!! We also saw a group from Brazil who were playing an awesome beat in the heart of the park... people were dancing the streets!

Our night ended with the most amazing ride through the city! We had fought our desire to ride on the carriage all day, but in the end... we got a good deal, and made a new friend who made it all worth it!!! (talked him down from $50 to $10 per person!) It absolutely made Times Square memorable!! Thanks Sedat!!

Until our next adventure.....
